The
awards ceremony took place on 7th December 2005 and
28 community groups across Falkirk saw their dreams
come true, as the Make It Happen scheme shared out £10,000
in an emotional ceremony held at The Inchyra Hotel,
Nr Stirling.
Each
group was presented with their prize of up to £940
each along with a commemorative plaque by manager of
Alex Totten, Director of football at Falkirk FC; Colin
Hume, Editor of the Falkirk Herald and Mel Dawson, Combined’s
Senior Regional Manager for Scotland.
During
the evening every group member made their way to centre
stage for a presentation and picture with Alex Totten
and Mel Dawson.
