The winners receiving their awards from Derby football players; Phil Brown, Adam Bolder and Paul Boertien and Nigel Brittle from Combined Insurance

Derby 2005 Launch

After the success of the Derby Make it Happen Awards in 2003, Combined Insurance teamed up with the Derby Evening Telegraph again to start another £10,000 give-away on 5th July 2005.

The scheme gave away a share of a £10,000 prize pool to people, groups and charities who wanted to benefit the community in the Derby area.

A panel of judges decided which of the awards entries were most beneficial to the community and most deserving of the cash, then award winners were invited to a special awards ceremony.
