Combined
Insurance has teamed up with the Kildare Nationalist
to launch the €10,000 Make it Happen Community
awards give-away on 7th December 2005.
The
scheme gives away a share of a €10,000 prize pool
to people, groups and charities who want to benefit
the community in the Kildare area
Later
in the year, a panel of judges will decide which of
the awards
entries are most beneficial to the community and
most deserving of the cash, then award
winners will be invited to a special award
ceremony.

Kildare Awards Ceremony |
 |
The awards ceremony took place on 6th April 2006 and
community groups across Kildare saw their dreams come
true, as the Make It Happen scheme shared out
€20,000
in an emotional ceremony held at the Keadeen Hotel,
Kildare.
Each group was presented with their cash prize along
with a commemorative plaque by Kildare's footballer
Antony Rainbow; Combined Insurance Regional Managers:
Tom Beary, Donal Nolan, Kieran Brennan and PJ Harrington
and Combined Insurance local District Managers: Aisling
Deegan, Tony Comber and Charlie Mernagh.
